NewsBlur App Reviews

Best RSS reader in iOS

The icon for this app is ugly. Hear that mr clay ? Youre losing market share because most people will pass on a great app because your icon is UGLY. The reader functions and gestures are perfect. No one else seems to understand how well this app works for fetching and aggregating news. It even has a feature where you can get mass email sent to a NewsBlur folder. TLDR. Ugly icon, perfect rss reader.

文字サイズが課題/Cant Change The Font Size

性能的には文句のつけようがありませんが、文字が小さくて読みづらい。それだけが残念です。 This news reader is really good except for one point:We cant change the font size. Now the letters are so small for a middle-aged ma(me) that using this appli get my eyes strain.

Funtastic app!

Funtastic and useful news app!

Good app

But after last upd. Fatal crash with iPhone 4, ios7. Please make app workable!

Require: Night theme and own server preferences. Text reading maybe batter. I think readability and Kindle is best at this time. Im using this service and app because I love Django.

Crash on star up

Good app but has bug in the version

Thank you

Big thanks to Samuel from Russia! The best rss reader and my favorite iOS app

Crashes when opening a story

The best news reader service! App is very well featured now, easy to use, themes are nice, havent experienced issues. Great job!

Offline

Cant offline all the blog at once.

Great RSS Reader

Been paying for this service since Google reader went under. Used Bloglines before that. This service is really great and highly recommend it to anyone that still has any interest in RSS. App has always worked for me.

Love love love it!

The globally shared stories queue is a black hole of wonderful.

Excellent update

Love the grey. Glad I have a subscription. Best for your money.

Excellent news reader

Extremely good news reader. Cant login with Feedly to import, but you can import OPML files, which is a nice touch. Works more reliably than any other iOS news reader Ive used. Site rendering and reading mode is superb. This is my favorite news reader right now. Keep up the great work! Suggestion: Create and end of feed page when you are viewing articles, so it doesnt look like it wont go to the next article. That way I know Im done.

Done with NewsBlur

Ive been using NewsBlur and Feedly daily for a long time. I didnt really have a preference for one or the other, that is, until now. Server issues have become a big problem with NewsBlur. Its happening more often and the down-time appears to be getting longer. Dont waste your time. Just download something else.

Best RSS service, by light years

NewsBlur is way, way ahead of its competition.

Last Update Spoiled this App

Ive used this App for months and found it to be great. I just downloaded the update I received today and cannot use the program any more. Article titles cover 2/3 of the page (left to right) obliterating a 1/3 or more of the column that should have shown the article itself. Not a big problem since that last column - where the article should be - is completely BLANK. Went from 5 stars to 1 star since I cannot give it Zero stars. I hope a fix is in the works!!!! IPad2 with IOS 7

Do not update!

Does no one do updates correctly? I dread "updates" because it is more likely to cause a problem as fix one, and the Newsblur update was no exception. It went from a mostly functioning, useful app to an app that will not open. I hate to lose this app but my patience for trying to figure out these problems is gone, so I will switch readers.

Best

Great app! Recommended. The unread marks are a bit wonky though, and dont always update properly within a session. So some bugs to iron out it seems. But almost totally solid. I rely on it daily.

Crashes when opening a story

App keeps crashing when opening a story within the app.

Still the best

In a post-Google-Reader world, two things are very important for an RSS reader: import of feeds and stories, and export. A good product allows you to come and go at any time, working on quality instead of lock-in. Newsblur is fantastic at both. Also, the programmer, Samuel Clay, is a devoted and responsive. It is not uncommon for a feature request to be completed within 48 hours, if its a good idea, or easy to do. He works always to improve, but not to bloat the features. Well, well worth the annual sub for use of the App.
