Need night mode

Great apps ! Is it possible to have a night mode option ? Like having white words on a black background please. Also if possible, a full screen story on portrait mode available :) At last, giving the shortcut gesture down-up (instead of only left-right) to pass to the next or previous story as an option would be perfect. Thank you :)

Really perfect

Really perfect if you have un account. App having for a watch Vraiment bien si vous avez un compte (cest gratuit). Je recommande pour une veille techno ou un suivi de lactualité

Does not work after update anymore !!!

I have just updated the app under iOS8 to the new version and it crashes on start :-( If the new version does not work with iOS 8 it should not be proposed to the user !! What can I do now ? Is there a way ti revert back to the previous version ?

Worked only for one day.

When I open the app, it shows a "Connection failure" message and simply dont work at all.

One of the greatest

Newsblur is the result of Samuel Clays hard work. Its one of those programs that surprise the user who would not give it the deserved credits - and this one takes all the credits. Its sleek, smooth and also has a training feature that learns the way you read. For those who are wanting a Zite replacement, Newsblur might be it, also being at the same time one of the best replacements for the deceased Google Reader.

Very Good

I use it to read my feeds in one place. Combination of web client, iOS App and very user friendly interface makes it perfect for me.

Works Fine but

German Umlaute ä ü ö do not get displayed correct when clicking on the more "text" button ...

Delete?

Why cant we delete feeds? Worthless.

unstable

The last versions are very unstable. By taging the app crash every time.

Love it.

NewsBlur for iPhone is brilliant. Simple design makes it quick and easy to use.

Looking for a new reader (after google)? Download NewsBlur!!

I was looking for a replacement after I heard about google reader shutting down, and Im so happy with NewsBlur I bought the full version. This app is BETTER than google reader ever was! It organizes my feeds into folders, I can easily flip through them, share, save, and manage. Why did I not use this app before? Why are there no other reviews for this??? Worth every penny!!!!

Great Service

Great replacement for Google Reader.

It simply works!

It works on IE, it works on iPhone, and it works on iPad. All my feeds are synchronized no matter which device I use. Not mention the apps look great on all platforms. Google reader I do not miss you!

improve

Please make the registeration optional. Please add your contact info inside the app so that people can send you feedback.

Audio issues

Audio still does not work on imbedded videos in news stories

Account

It requires an account to even just try it. Just imagine if everything requires an account... An account to go to the grocery, an account to buy at Best Buy, one for every place you go... Too bad.

Best newsreader there is

Tried most of the different services, feedly, etc since Google Reader was announced as shutting down. I switched to feedly at first, wasnt impressed and found NewsBlur and have never looked back. Its great, the developer is passionate and even responded to a feature request from me in like 2 hours. Its insane the amount of effort and customer service that Sam puts into this thing. Its amazing, the social features of being able to comment on blogs that similarly minded people read is just awesome. This app is amazing. Thanks man, and keep up the effort and Ill gladly keep paying. I would pay more for this app.

Simple & Elegant

This really is the best rss reader.. It gets out of the way and lets you enjoy the content youve subscribed to. No gimmicks. Couldnt do without.

Text size too small, maxes out at 17 pt

Pro: Newsblur has a very elegant navigation layout. Its easy to use. Con: theres no full screen view, and the font size is too small to read easily.

Dont get it. Waste of time.

You need to make an account just to try it. Seriously? I just want an app to fetch my RSS feeds. App deleted.
